Children’s books
Thanks to my lovely friend Mary-Sue suggesting it, I have embarked on writing my first children’s book, but with a difference. The hero of the book is an animal I’ve communicated with.
I would like to think that this will help those parents who have children that can hear animals, so that they don’t feel as if they’re alone or that they have weird kids.
The book will be available to purchase in time for Christmas!
I hope to, over time, write a series of such books. They will all be stories from real animals I’ve spoken with. Here is some information about the first one. The title is:
Sidney the Silly Stick Insect
Check back here for the publication date but, in the meantime, here is the first page:

My name is Sidney. Some of my friends call me Silly Sidney. I came out of an egg when I was a tiny baby and I have lots of brothers and sisters.
I come from a very warm country called Papua New Guinea but now I live in Scotland which is much colder. But it’s OK because my house is nice and warm and I never feel cold.
I live here with lots of other stick insects who come from lots of different places.
